About the role: You’ll have a positive outlook that will help you thrive in the achievement of the following daily responsibilities:
- Locating products and rotating stock effectively
- Accurately check all goods to ensure customers receive the correct products.
- Label and pack goods suitably to avoid damage during transit and identify the contents should they be of a hazardous nature.
- Ensure all orders are complete and ready for dispatch by the end of the shift to meet the customer delivery expectations.
- Ensure warehouse health and safety and hygiene standards are maintained and at the highest level, to ensure any risks to workers, customers or visitors are kept to the lowest level.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness.
What are we looking for? It would be beneficial to your application if you have the following experience which is desirable rather than essential:
- Willing to learn new skills and apply existing and newly acquired knowledge.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good Health & Safety awareness.
- High Standard of housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Basic numerical and reading skills.
- General knowledge of warehouse operations – Desirable.
- Basic computer skills)- Desirable.
- FLT licence (Reach/Counterbalance)- Desirable.
