Apply Here Job Description : The Biden For President campaign is looking for a talented, driven, detail-oriented individual to join its road video team focused on capturing principal road videography and documentary-style storytelling and ensure that video shoots on location are as effective and efficient as possible. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in video production, a passion for politics, and the ability to successfully collaborate in high-pressure environments. The position is full-time and based in Washington D.C. with significant travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record video shoots and cover events with campaign principals in a variety of settings and environments around the country.
  • Work under tight deadlines to create original, shareable, compelling videos to reach persuadable audiences across digital platforms.
  • Effectively manage the post-production workflow for road and remote footage and manage video equipment distribution as needed.
  • Craft lighting for video shoots, mix and develop audio, and work with an extensive amount of video equipment for productions on the ground.
  • Coordinate with the rest of the video and digital mobilization teams to ensure video is distributed quickly and efficiently with editors and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with social media and advertising strategists to capture content conducive to use on organic and paid channels.
  • Work with live video production and live video distribution systems.

Preferred Skills &amp Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience shooting principal-focused video content for use in documentary-style films, shorts, and/or promos for digital and social media.
  • Experience filming in high-pressure situations and adjusting to flexible shoot situations on location.
  • Detailed knowledge of production and post-production gear, lighting techniques and equipment, audio gear, camera equipment, and software.
  • Experience editing and developing videos maximized for success and engagement on social platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team or crew.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel daily.
  • Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE.
