Job Description
Supply Chain Analysts will provide market analyses to inform strategic buying decisions. Tasks include strategic demand planning and forecasting, creating stocking strategies, and reporting on pricing, costs, and gross profit. Individuals will be perceptive, intelligent and adaptable to a highly dynamic supply chain. This position is full-time and located in Lancaster, PA, but is hybrid-friendly for those within a 1-hour driving radius.
Supply Chain Analysts serve Clark’s procurement division, which buys products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform WebstaurantStore.com, The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2023, we reached $3.6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs. Supply Chain Analysts are responsible for keeping these items in stock at the best available price.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic demand planning and forecasting
- Formulating and implementing stocking strategies
- Analyzing sales and market trends to maximize sales and profit
- Researching potential new products and adding to our catalog
- Mining data using Microsoft Power BI and our proprietary inventory management system
- Generating creative ideas for process improvement
- Communicate with logistics, operations, and customer support teams to ensure effective delivery of product
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to conduct detailed research
- Strong data reporting and analysis skills
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Clear and effective communication
- Strong computer skills emphasis in Excel
- We consider applicants with diverse majors and work history however, applicants frequently have education in Business Management, Supply Chain, Business Logistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant positions include Buyer, Procurement Analyst, Sourcing Operations Analyst, Vendor Manager, and Pricing Analyst.
