Pay Range $19.57 – $25.89/hrly

(This is a part time position with a maximum of 29 hours a week)

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Information Technology, Business Relationship Management Division – Dept of Health &amp Human Services has a part time vacancy for a Procurement Technician.

SCOPE OF WORK: Supports Business Relationship Management Division Leadership Team by performing administrative planning, dissemination of information and other support process requests for procuring IT goods and services for the Department of Health and Human Services via DoIT’s Requisition and Reporting tool (R&ampR).

ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Reviews, verifies, and processes IT related goods and service requests through the R&ampR Procurement system including the submission of TSR’s. Tracks purchase requests on the specialized DoIT tracking spreadsheet for purchases on DHHS’s behalf.

Assembles, analyzes, and prepares procurement information for the DoIT teams supporting DHHS. Requests quotes and tracks funding and budgeting on the LIS system and a specialized DHHS budget tracking spreadsheet.

Reviews purchasing processes and trends to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to management to resolve procurement transactions, complaints, and discrepancies.

Processes and follows up on work order tickets for IT Infrastructure Services by tracking open Help Desk tickets and Service Requests.

Coordinates the scheduling of DHHS contracts, RFPs, and RFB for DoIT Technical Reviews. This includes updating review folders, tracking targeted review completion dates, and communicating when the DoIT Technical reviews are complete.

Maintains, processes, and tracks DHHS software renewals as necessary. This includes updating subscription renewal dates in the DHHS spend plan for expenditure forecasting.

Assists in the on-boarding logistics of new positions reporting to the ASD DHHS Leadership Team including but not limited to equipment and telecommunication requests, etc.

Inventorying and providing required documentation of computer related equipment disposal or disk destruction.

Assists in managing the schedules of the ASD DHHS Leadership Team. Prepares agendas for ASD Team meetings and coordinate/schedule appointments and/or meetings through email.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education : Associates degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in accounting, business administration, or public administration. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience : Two years of experience in procurement activities with direct experience in bid preparation and contract procedures. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

License/Certification : Must be eligible to hold a valid New Hampshire drivers license and/or have access to transportation for use in statewide travel.
