THE POSITION

The Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL), Bureau of Human Services Licensing (BHSL), is looking for an analytical team player for a role in licensing operations managing licensing enforcement actions. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Analyst, you will be responsible for administering the BHSL administrative fines system, including determining whether fines should be assessed and issuing invoices in accordance with policy to prevent compliance deterioration. As an Enforcement Manager, you will ensure consistency in interpretation of the regulations and policies and work with regional management teams to ensure consistency across the state. You will ensure defensible cases before Bureau of Hearing and Appeals and Commonwealth Court. In addition, you will have an opportunity to promote consistent compliance enforcement, ensuring health, safety, and well-being protections for all personal care home and assisted living residence consumers across the state.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING &amp ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs and a bachelor’s degree or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
