Job Summary: Assists guests at the Guest Services Center, providing information and promoting a positive image of the Medical Center.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent with three years of work experience. Preference given to those with university-level courses in communications, psychology, or related areas.
Essential Functions:
- Solves problems and provides information to both internal and external requestors.
- Gives directions to Medical Center visitors.
- Provides information about Medical Center policies and procedures.
- Uses computer system to retrieve requested information.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Familiarity with Medical Center layout and services offered
Work Environment: Clean, comfortable, well-lit environment
Physical Requirements:
- Involves standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, finger and hand dexterity, talking, hearing, and seeing.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 100 lbs.
