Grounds Keeper
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Direct Reports: No
Employment Type: Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY: Under general direction, responsible for minor maintenance at RSG facilities and on office equipment.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the grounds of the facility.
- Perform minor maintenance on plant and office equipment.
- Performs minor building repair work on doors, docks, windows, and floors.
- Performs painting as required.
- Performs remodeling work as required.
- Complies with all safety regulations and company policies, familiar with lockout/tagout.
- Responsible for housekeeping around his/her general area and returning tools to the proper locations.
Safety Training Requirements:
- Maintains a clean, safe, organized work area.
- Reports to Supervisor any unsafe equipment or conditions that exist.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skill in using all types of hand and power tools.
- Carpentry skills preferred
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent.
- Maintenance experience in a production facility is preferred.
