National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK
. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today.
The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation.
Due to continued growth within the Security function, we are seeking a talented DFIR Analyst to join us to protect the National Gas system assets and people from Cyber Security threats, ensuring that we can detect cyber attackers that threaten it.
In this role, you will plan and deliver incident readiness and preparedness services, whilst collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to enhance the security of CNI and OT systems.
You’ll actively manage cyber security incidents that impact the business, and conduct in-depth incident analysis to understand attack vectors, TTPs, and root causes, whilst also remediating attacks on our OT network and preparing and delivering incident reports to senior management and stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role based between our Warwick HQ and Home, and the closing date for applications is 3rd July 2024.
About You
- Technical Digital Forensics and Incident Response in a variety of operating systems and environments
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to understand and cope with large amounts of detail quickly and efficiently.
- Experience in Incident Response and Threats in OT and Industrial Control Systems
- Expertise in Threat Intelligence and information sharing
- Incident Management skills
